Held just 25 km (15 miles) West of Toronto and only 90 km
(55 miles) North
of Buffalo, NY), at Sheridan Community College in Oakville, Ontario,
AstroCATS is a 2-day event featuring the largest commercial
display and sale of telescopes and related astronomical products in the Canada.
Because of its proximity to the US border we anticipate a large attendance from
Upstate New York, Pennsylvania, NE Ohio, and Michigan.

We will be promoting the event with advertising in major astronomy magazines,
astronomy clubs, and retailers within the trading area. Oakville Ontario is part
of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and is a highly affluent region where
astronomy is particularly popular and disposable incomes are significantly
higher than the national average in both Canada and USA. The show includes
conference workshops and lectures by well-known professional and amateur
astronomers, as well as other experts in their fields.

With paid attendance expected to be as many as 2,000, we can assure you of 2
very busy days as amateur astronomers shop for new “toys” to add to their
already extensive collection of equipment. We expect AstroCATS to rapidly become
the world’s largest networking platform where manufacturers, suppliers, and
vendors have the opportunity to build partnerships, expand their relationships,
and showcase new products for the upcoming year.

Trade Show Exhibitors

Your exhibit is the reason that
patrons will flock to AstroCATS. For many, it will be the first time they have
ever attended a world-class astronomy event. It will also be the first time they
have ever seen your products beyond what they see on a computer screen. They
will be able to see the quality and hear first-hand about the product advantages
you offer which is especially important for high-end products that a photograph
cannot possibly convey justification for spending more. With so many astronomy
stores trading bricks and mortar for a virtual store, it is more important than
ever to display the real deal.

Sponsorships

Sponsorships are for those companies that:

  • Are unable to attend in person but want to be
    promoted as a Show Sponsor on our website, printed banners, handout
    materials, and announcement broadcasts.

  • Exhibitors who would also like to be promoted as
    a Show Sponsor on our website, printed banners, handout materials, and
    announcement broadcasts. Door prize contributions is the only additional expense.
